Our dinner spot was pretty solid. 😋 the bed here was super comfy, and we had access to some nice extras like a patio, balcony, and big windows. the location was chill and convenient, just a short hop away from Lake Ruataniwha.

the hotel was big size, and the meals were outstanding, i loved the particularly good location very close to nearby activities, the town centre and a country park. the breakfast in the casual restaurant for dinner was substantial.

The hotel's exterior is stunning. Water quality is excellent. Beds are comfortable. Good location for Mount Cook. Friendly staff.

The location of this hotel is wonderful, making it easy to find and very quiet. It is also close to town, which is perfect for accessing Mt Cook and the DoC Information office and shops. The staff provided good service and the rooms were a good size and clean. The breakfast offered was very good and the hotel is conveniently located near a nice restaurant.

Pillows need improvement.

Dinner the first night, the restaurant superviser was fantastic.

Our stay at Mackenzie Country was enjoyable. The central location made it easy for us to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options that satisfied our cravings.

We did encounter some minor issues, such as a few hairs in the bathroom and the need to request extra towels. However, these were quickly addressed by the attentive staff.

The room condition, staff friendliness and quality food

There was nothing that displeased me.

The room ws very comfortable and clean. The room looked over the grounds and we didn't feel intruded upon.

The food was satisfactory. We chose the 'buffet' style, the choice was varied but cooled quite quickly.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, with two comfortable queen size beds and a cot, which gave me and my family ample space to move around. The temperature dropped low at night, but the heater in the room worked perfectly well, keeping us warm and cozy. We enjoyed a sumptuous buffet breakfast included in our package, which had a variety of well-cooked dishes. The staff were friendly and provided us excellent service. The hotel's location was convenient as it was located nearby a lovely cafe and lake rowing events venue.

Nothing not to love.

Closeness to Mt Cook and on the main route between Queenstown and Christchurch. Close to places to eat.
